INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Make sure you have a compatible recovery for kitkat
2. Wipe everything but your external/internal storage

(1)Download the firmware package from the given link and extract it.

(2)Verify that your SD card is formatted in FAT32 filesystem and has enough free storage.

(3)Unzip Download package or extract zip file.

(4)Now “dload” folder (containing Update.app file) put it to the main directory of your external SD Card.

(5)Next, turn off your device and insert the SD card.

(6)Reboot into forced SD upgrade mode by holding Vol Up + Vol Down + Power buttons at the same time until you see some text on the screen.

It’ll take a few minutes to complete the update. After that, it will automatically shut down and reboot into the new OS.

How to install Stock Marshmallow Firmware on Huawei P8 Lite –

Method 1

1) First, download Android 6.0 Marshmallow ROM for Huawei P8 Lite from above and extract it.

2) Now create a folder dload in the root of your SD card and place the update.app file in that folder.

3) Now go to the phone settings–>update and press the menu button.

4)  Now select choose Local update.

5) It will show the update.app file now tap on it to start the installation process.

6) Wait until the installation process is complete and then reboot your device., you have latest firmware

7) Done.

Method 2

1) Download  Stock ROM for Huawei P8 Lite from above and extract it.

2) Now create a folder dload in the root of your SD card and place the update.app file in that folder.

3) Now turn off your device.

4) Now press “Volume Up + Volume Down and Power Button” together. The update process will start automatically.

5) Now wait for some time to complete the process.

INSTALL PROCEDURE

1. Download MTK Droid Root & Tools to:
   • Obtain ROOT access
   • Take a note of the LCD Driver IC
   • Make a backup of nvram
   • Save IMEI
2. Extract downloaded Y600-U20_AOSPv4.4.2.RAR
3. Download latest MTK SP Flash Tool and extract (pass: mtk2000)
   • Open SP Flash Tool
   • Press "Scatter-loading" and select the scatter file from firmware-extracted folder
   • Click the UBOOT line to select a file
   • Choose the correct lk.bin (LCD Driver IC aquired before) from the firmware folder
   • Select "Format All + Download", click the Download button
   • Remove battery from the phone THEN connect via USB, waiting for the end of the process
   • When finished, disconnect the phone put battery and reboot
   • close the flash software
4. Open again MTK Droid Root & Tools to
   • obtain the ROOT again
   • Restore backuped NVRAM & IMEI
5. install OpenGapps
