Installation Procedure

1. This firmware should only be installed on the ATH-UL01 with C432 build and C432D001 custom number.
2. Download the RAR package from above and extract its contents.
3. You’ll get a ‘dload’ folder alongside a PDF tutorial. Transfer the ‘dload’ folder to the main directory of internal memory or external microSD card.

GApps:

I would recommend Opengapps (ARM/6.0) Pico but any GApps for Masrhmallow should work. Using GApps slows the phone considerably so I would advise using minimal GApps editions.

With Opengapps, it must be installed at the same time as the rom. Installing at a later time causes FC's when the phone is rebooted.

Note: To fix AOSP keyboard with opengapps pico remove the file: /system/lib/libjni_latinimegoogle.so

Step 1: Download one of the CM 12.1 builds from above. Copy that ROM package to the root folder of your external SD card without extracting.

Step 2: You also need to download Android 5.1 compatible Google apps (Gapps). Download the appropriate Gapps here: <a href="http://adf.ly/1VEjNO" style="color:red">Download</a> . Copy the Gapps Zip package to the SD too.

Step 3: Disconnect the USB cable and reboot your phone in the recovery mode by holding Volume up + Power button.

Step 4: In the custom recovery, go to “Wipe” and perform a Factory Reset. You can manually wipe Cache, Data and System partitions too.

Step 5: Return to the main screen, tap “Install” and choose the ROM package your want to flash. Make sure Zip verification is not ticked otherwise the installation will fail.

Step 6: After installation, go to Install again and choose the Gapps zip package this time.

Step 7: Upon completion, tap “Wipe Dalvik Cache” to ensure you don’t encounter any bootloop.

Step 8: Finally, reboot your device from the Power menu. The first boot usually takes 5-10 minutes. After that, you’ll be prompted to set the language and time.

How to Install

Note: You can only install this firmware on RIO-L02 currently running a C636Bxx build.

1. Download “Huawei_G7 Plus______C636B140_Thailand.zip” from the official mirror provided above and extract its contents.
2. On your phone, take a full backup of all your data and apps and store it somewhere safe.
3. Transfer the extracted ‘dload’ folder to your phone’s external microSD card.
4. Unplug the USB cable and go to Updater > menu > Local update, select the full Update.app package and flash it.
5. You can also manually trigger the update by rebooting the device while holding Vol down + Vol up + Power for a couple of seconds.
